Sarah began her art making early in childhood. Having moved to Cape Cod at the age of 4, Sarah's summers from the age of 5 to 19 were spent at the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill. Sarah's desire to return to the ocean is reflected in her current work. Sarah's artistic endeavors have included Pottery, Printmaking, Photography, and Graphic Design. She also has experience in metalworking from jewelry making to welding. She studied at Cabrillo College in California, The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, and Mudflat Studios for 10 years. It was at Mudflat Studio where she took part in their 1-year education program for hands-on ceramic technical skill building for clays, glazes, kilns and firings. During this time she learned how to fire both oxidation and reduction firings in their three Bailey Gas Kilns

Sarah's current work is hand-built and coiled Porcelain forms ranging from functional servers to sculptural figures.

Sarah is a Resident Studio Artist at Mudflat Studios in Somerville, Ma. In the Fall of 2015, Sarah joined the Mudflats Board of Directors and sits on the Marketing and Development and Gallery Committees.
